Growing up in a poor family in Italy, Padre Pio faced numerous health issues. He had a deep spirituality and decided at age 5 that he would dedicate his life to God. When he entered the Capuchin friars at age 15, he chose the name Pio after Pope Pius I - whose relic he often saw at his local chapel.
One day, while praying, he felt pain in his hands and feet, and saw the stigmata, the wounds of Christ, forming. The wounds bled and continued to weep but never became infected and smelled of roses. This miracle gained him a lot of unwanted popularity which he used for good to open a hospital.
Padre Pio was most known for his piety, charity, and the quality of his preaching. Wear these socks and let Padre Pio remind you of his popular expression to "Pray, hope, and don't worry."

I loved my last pair of St Pio socks so much that they became holey in addition to being holy. So, I bought another pair. It would be hard to be without Padre Pio socks, so I’m not!
I purchased 5pr of the St. Michael socks for my Police Officer son. “St. Michael protect them in battle”. One pair for everyday at work. He loves Padre Pio so he got a pr for his days off. He wears a size 15 shoe. Not easy for him to get shoes nor socks. Bought him the XL socks. He loves them, he really does. Says they are a great fit, comfortable, and he wears a pair each day. I will be buying more.

My husband wears a size 14 shoe, so the XL socks work well for him. They fit perfectly and the colors are bright and vibrant.
I found a problem with the socks. I purchase XL so they can fit properly. I purchase 4 pairs from which 2 of them are not XL and now they barely fit
I would be happy to shed some light on this for you. In 2021, we began manufacturing here in the USA! Having had the desire for a long time to bring our manufacturing domestic, by the grace of God, we are now manufacturing and producing our socks in-house at our warehouse in Indianapolis, IN (Check out how we do it here). This process has led us to discover that different yarns have different stretch. We are working to fine tune the recipe and get better with every sock!
