In 1531, the Virgin Mary appeared to Juan Diego, a humble farmer on Tepeyac Hill near Mexico City, instructing him to seek the bishop's approval for a temple. Despite initial skepticism, Mary persisted, guiding Juan to gather roses miraculously blooming out of season. When presented to the bishop, Juan's tilma, or cloak, revealed a stunning image of Our Lady. Convinced of its divine origin, the bishop sanctioned the temple's construction. Miracles associated with the tilma persist, displayed at the basilica.

Our Lady's got my back (and my coffee)

Not only can I always rely on Our Lady to lead us to her Son, but I can contemplate her help and presence at work with every cup - other mugs just won't do! Heart and cup overflows (albeit not literally. Lots of space, lots of grace.).
