I purchased the socks for a friend (Clare) for her 12/3 birthday. She loves them and her patron Saint.
I love my Holy Spirit socks for playing pickleball
I love my St Clare socks. The design is stunning! Can’t wait to start wearing it once the temperatures drop.
They are great looking socks. I purchased them for a 14 year old who I am Sponsoring for Confirmation and she chose St Claire as her Patron Saint. She is a on the petite side. I wish the socks came in kids sizes. I think they are going to be HUGE on her.
Hi Patrice, apologies that we do not make the St. Clare socks in the kids size! If the young lady that you are sponsoring finds that they are in fact too large we would be happy to send a different design that we do offer in the kids size. You can just email email@example.com to help you with that process! Here is a list of all our designs that come in kids sizing: https://sockreligious.com/collections/kids-socks
Best socks EVER! Super Comfy Cozy!
I bought the St. Clare socks for a friend whose daughter is a Poor Clare nun. She was thrilled with her gift.
We bought St. Ignatius socks for my daughter's roommates as a graduation present from a Jesuit school. This Christmas, we picked out the perfect sock for each of the 10 nieces and nephews. They aren't all practicing Catholics anymore, but who doesn't love an inspirational saint story?!!! And the socks are comfortable and easy to match! Thanks Sock Religious!
Born to a wealthy Italian family in 1194, St. Clare was one of the first followers of St. Francis of Assisi. Wanting a life of poverty and refusing to marry anyone but Jesus Christ, she eventually built a following that is known today as the “Poor Clares.” In 1241, during the Crusades, armies came to attack the order. Though feeble with ill health and age, Clare rose to meet the armies with the Blessed Sacrament and prayed to God to protect her sisters. The armies fell back, as if dazed, and retreated. Toward the end of her life, Clare became too ill to attend Mass but, miraculously, a vision of the Mass appeared on her wall and, though it was several miles away, she was able to hear it. Because of this vision, she is the patron saint of television and eye ailments.
