Best known as the parents of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, but described by her as “more worthy of heaven than of earth.” In early adulthood both Louis and Zélie had hoped to enter religious life but eventually found their calling elsewhere; Louis was trained as a watchmaker, while Zélie was a very skilled lace maker. The couple’s occupations were the inspiration for the patterning of this sock. While the top of the sock shows the gears of a watch, the foot exhibits one of Zélie’s original lace patterns. On the sock you can see the patterning slowly morph and join, as in marriage. The couple was blessed with 9 children with 5 daughters surviving childhood and all of whom entered into religious life. They are the first married couple to be canonized together.

Was absolutely overjoyed when I saw you guys were finally carrying Sts. Louis and Zelie socks! They're favorite saints of my girlfriend and myself both, so I immediately got a pair as a gift for her upcoming birthday. High quality socks as always from Sock Religious, with a very timely delivery too.
Your guys socks are always high quality and I love these in particular, my wife and I got matching. We named our third Zelie so we just had to buy these when we saw them.
She loves these socks! There was an issue with the delivery, but in the end the socks finally arrived on time.
Got these for my wife for Valentine’s Day and she loved them! Said that they were soft and comfortable. The weren’t very tight on the ankles to leave marks, but also stayed in place all day. Would purchase again!
