A humble man from Mexico in the early 1500s, Juan Diego stood out amidst pagan Aztec influences with his unwavering faith and deep devotion to the Virgin Mary. After being guided to Christianity by Franciscan missionaries, he embraced a simple yet devout Catholic life.
When the Virgin Mary appeared to him, asking for a chapel to be built in her honor on Tepayac Hill, Juan Diego took on the task of convincing the bishop. He brought miraculous roses from the hillside to prove her request, and when he opened his tilma in the bishop’s presence, the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe was imprinted on it. This miraculous sign converted the bishop and fulfilled Mary’s wish. Today, that same tilma can be seen in Mexico City, a symbol of faith and miracles.

- Wash Use a mild, non-bleach detergent and wash in cold or lukewarm water on a gentle cycle. You can hand wash or machine wash, but if you machine wash, wash inside out with similar colors.
- Dry Air dry or tumble dry on low heat. Avoid over-drying to prevent shrinkage. Remove from the dryer as soon as it's dry to prevent wrinkles.
- Iron Iron at low to medium heat. If you're ironing an embroidered shirt, it's recommended to hand wash it.
- Store Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid Avoid fabric softeners, which can leave a residue that affects the fabric's breathability and absorbency. Hot water can also shrink pure cotton and cause dye to leak.

Love this shirt! I've had my eye on it for a long time and finally got it and am thrilled to wear it. It's comfortable and just pretty.
We ordered a size medium, but I probably should’ve ordered a men’s small. (my son is 5’10” and weighs less than 115 pounds.) My son was ecstatic about the shirt! So it is a keeper!
Pictured is my Marian Tour shirt for size visualization. I'm a small frame but like loose fitting shirts. I got a medium but could have been comfortable in a small. Very soft and comfortable shirt. Gildan brand base tee. Love the conversations that spark from wearing it. Those that get it, love it. Those that don't know Juan Diego appreciate the story and unexpected Catholic humor.
In 4th grade at my kids' school, they're assigned a saint to do a research project on. They make a doll & at the school All Saints mass they "present" the dolls.
I was SO excited when I found this St Juan Diego shirt to match my son's saint. I've order other items as gifts and as always, they're soft, cute & comfy. And, of course, I love the whit, although I had to explain this one to my kids :)
St. Juan Diego saw her face and became a believer way before the Monkees and SmashMouth. And definitely before the Shrek soundtrack. (If you don’t get it, Google it)
